Who is Mike Pluimer?

Michael Pluimer is the Director of Engineering for the Plastics Pipe Institute and lives near Raymond, MN with his wife and two kids. He holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Mike has competed in eight Ironman Triathlons including Couer d'Alene, Arizona, and Lake Placid - as well as numerous Half Ironmans, marathons, Olympic triathlons, and Sprint triathlons. For several of his Ironmans, Mike has participated in the Janus Charity Challenge, raising over $1,200,000 for various charity organizations. He was the top fundraiser at Couer d'Alene in 2005.
